I am having an outdoor wedding at a nature center in Cincinnati, OH. I thought that it would be a great idea to give little tree saplings or seedlings as gifts at the wedding. My fiance and I are very outdoorsy and would love to give a meaningful gift such as this that would do good for the environment as well. I have heard that some organizations will give free seedlings/saplings since they want everyone to plant as many trees as possible. Or, atleast if someone knows of somewhere I can find reasonably priced ones. I am having 200+ guests at the wedding and I just cannot afford to spend too much. I found a company in a Brides magazine that sends you personalized tree saplings that have a message, etc. on them but they wanted something like $4 or $5 a piece. I don’t have that kind of money
Please help if you can!! I just need the seedlings/saplings. I can do the wrapping/messaging myself.

I am thinking of getting my fiance a really nice personalized poetry journal for the grooms gift. Any ideas on where I can find something like that?

Please don’t give me websites, I’ll be buying the gift locally. Just ideas of what I could get a newborn with a 30 dollar limit. It could be a few differnt items or one big item. The mom is a close friend of mine. I’d like something unique, maybe personalized. I’m also willing to make somehing if there was a nice idea of something I could make. Its a baby girl, and she’ll be comming along any day now.
Also I have to mail the present from Newfoundland to Montreal, so nothing too bulky please.

I bought a folder pocket knife (one blade) and had it personalized as a gift. I found out that it doesnt come with a wooden box to present it in and i can’t just hand someone a knife lol… Where can i get one of those wooden boxes that you put them in. I’ve looked through all the sites that yahoo and google give and cant find a PLAIN box. They all come with knives inside and like eagles printed on the outside of them and i just want a plain box for the knife i already have. Any help would be much appreciated… Thanks!

Do you know their prices?
Do I have to buy my product from them in order to get it personalized?
Do you know if there is a way I could do it myself?

My boyfriend is 18 and I am 17 and our one year anniversary is coming up soon. He has a lot planned for our one year, and is very excited about it. He is a very sweet person, but I don’t know what to get for him for our one year anniversary. I don’t want to get him something generic like a gift card, or something like that. Any ideas?
I know I already posted this question already, and I got very good ideas, including soap embedded with personalized messages. Can anyone give me any more ideas?

Last year my BF bought a $6.99 bouquet of flowers and split it up between his daughter(10 yrs old) his sister and me,signed my valentine card in fron of me w/out any personal thoughts or anything and threw it accross the floor at me,didn’t have any alone time & that was pretty much it.This year I bought dinner& made it after working all day, all he said was it was tough(the meat), borught a half bottle of wine, didn’t help clean up, and fell asleep on the living room floor. I gave him his very much looked for and personalized card full of romantic thoughts, and lipstick kisses, and he rolled his eyes, gave him his very sentimental and very much looked for gift, which I could barely afford and only said…where am I going to put it?? witha disappointed look on his face. No thank you or anything, not even a hug or kiss. He didn’t even get or ‘make’ a card for me.Money wasn’t even an issue. What the F????????????
Am I being shallow or is my disappointment legitamate?
